Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has jokingly expressed an interest in acting in a Tiger Woods biopic.

The 57-year-old movie star said this in an Instagram post on Friday.

“I’m here channelling my inner Tiger Woods as I’m waiting on my US agent to get me auditions for the Tiger woods biopic and I don’t care who says I cant audition for the part because like I always say, nothing is impossible, so excuse me if I stretch the concept too far, lol,” he wrote in parts.

On a serious note, Tiger Woods victory last weekend and the realities of Easter both bear profound lessons in life and reiterates the fact that “failure is indeed an orphan but success has many brothers”. When Jesus went around performing miracles, a multitude went with Him and more came to see Him. At His triumphant entry, shouts of Hosanna rang through the city but when it was time for His crucifixion He was left to carry His cross and many including His disciples abandoned Him only to return after His resurrection. Tiger Woods on his part was a sports hero, his legend traveled far and wide until his infamous troubles started. He lost his wife, his career, his friends, his name and reputation. Tiger became a thing of ridicule. Sports analysts and the media wrote him off but when it was time, after 11 long years of near oblivion, Tiger won the masters and all those who abandoned him and called him failure are celebrating him today. My take on it is this: “DO NOT ALLOW THE CHEERS AND THE APPLAUSE GET TO YOUR HEAD. STAY HUMBLE THROUGH THE PROCESS” and as you face your journey to the cross or 11 years of oblivion, keep praying and keep ‘training’. Have an amazing Easter Holiday. #rmdsaysso #jesusisalive #easter Cc @official2baba

RMD’s comments come in the wake of Tiger Woods completing an incredible comeback victory at the Augusta Masters on Sunday.

The 43-year-old veteran won an historic fifth green jacket at the Georgia event in what is being touted as arguably the greatest ever comeback in sport.

Woods came back to win his fifth green jacket having not held the lead after 54-holes.
