Rita Edochie reacts to $100k ransom demand for Cnythia Okereke, Clemson Cornel

Rita Edochie has reacted to the $100k demand for the release of her colleagues Cnythia Okereke and Clemson Cornel abducted on their way back from a movie location in Enugu.

Rita shared their photos on Instagram on Saturday, praying for their safe return.

She wrote: “Jesus please just touch the people holding them. Do this for us because we have no power to handle this.”

Emeka Rollas, national president of Actors Guild of Nigeria said the kidnappers reached out to the families of the actors and made the demand.

He said, “The kidnappers have made contact with the families and are demanding the sum of $100,000. We pray to God for his intervention and for Him to put confusion in their midst.
