Singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, on Thursday walked out of a musical concert in Atlanta, United States.

The artiste refused to perform due to the poor condition of the venue.

In a video on social media, the 23-year-old said the concert would not go on, citing safety concerns and ‘disrespect’ for the fans and Afrobeats.

Rema said, “We don’t move like this, Afrobeats is way too big to move like this. I don’t take no rubbish and I respect my fans.”

The singer stated that the organisers of the show had disrespected him and Afrobeats.

He also announced a reschedule of the show before walking off the stage.
