Rapper Fetty Wap makes Billboard history

Fetty WapAmerican rapper, Fetty Wap, makes Billboard history this week by being the first artiste to have his first four singles in Billboard Top 10 Rap Songs.

Born Willie Maxwell, his latest single ‘Again’ debuted this week on Billboard Hot Rap Song List at number 8. This marks the rapper’s fourth single to land in the Top 10.

His other songs, hit track ‘Trap Queen’ is currently sitting at number 2 with ‘My Way’ coming in at number 3 and ‘679’ featuring Remy Boys following at number 5.

In the 26-year history of the chart, Fetty Wap is the only artiste to have his first four entries in the top 10 at the same time, putting him ahead of artistes like Kanye West, Jay-Z and many more.

The 24-year-old is set to drop his debut album on September 25 2015.

Fetty is also up for three nominations at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards for Best Hip-hop Video and Artist to Watch for ‘Trap Queen’, and Song of the Summer for ‘My Way’.
