Actress Rahama Sadau has announced her Nikkah with Ibrahim Garba.
She shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, posting a video of her in her wedding attire.
In her caption, she wrote, “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem… Alhamdulillah, My Nikkah was done today. I am officially a Mrs. A new chapter unfolds. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy.”
She added, “May the Almighty bless our union with tranquility, everlasting love, happiness, and abundant prosperity. We kindly ask for your prayers as we step into this beautiful new journey together.”
The ceremony took place at Atiku Auwal Mosque in Ungwan Rimi, Kaduna.
It was described as private and attended by family and close friends.
The bride price was set at N300,000.
The Nikkah followed the death of her father, Ibrahim Sadau, in June.
Earlier that month, Rahama had shared the news of his death.
Funeral prayers were held in Kaduna, with colleagues and fans offering support.
Rahama Sadau debuted in Kannywood in 2013 with the film Gani ga Wane.
She has since acted in Hausa films, Nollywood productions and a Bollywood feature.
She also runs production and beauty businesses, owns an ice cream shop in Kaduna and leads philanthropic initiatives through her Ray of Hope Foundation.
