Prince Emeka Ani returns to movie set after successful eye surgery

Actor Prince Emeka Ani is back on the movie set after undergoing a successful eye surgery.

A video of the movie producer thanking skit maker Sabinus for his support while filming at a movie location has been circulating on social media.

In the video, Emeka who looked healthy and strong recounted how Saibinus sent a car to pick him up from Asaba to Port Harcourt for a project and offered him a huge sum of money but he did not disclose the amount.

In the video, the excited actor could be seen dancing to express gratitude to God for his return, saying that he is finally well.

Others in the video also welcomed their colleague back on set.

Emeka Ani first raised an alarm on social media over his health condition in 2020.

In a video on Instagram, Emeka who revealed that he is diabetic said that he has been sick since December 2020. He also said that he had undergone a surgical operation but could not heal because of the diabetics. Emeka also added that he suffered a partial stroke afterwards.

The Stolen Bible actor who was gifted six million naira by the founder and senior prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry Warri Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin to undergo surgery in November 2022 cried out again for financial support to undergo eye surgery.

The veteran actor said he was diagnosed with glaucoma, a condition of increased pressure within the eyeball, causing gradual loss of sight.

He also said that there was a “growth around my eyes, if you look at it very well you’ll see the growth coming to the black spot and if care is not properly taken, it might result in blindness.”

In June 2023, a video clip of him thanking Evangelist Ebuka Obi, founder of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Ministries, for supporting him financially in undergoing a successful eye surgery was shared on social media.
