Controversial singer Naira Marley has said in a tweet that the Nigerian police and himself are on good terms.
The 26-year-old made this known on Friday after an Abuja mobile court fined him N200,000 for flouting COVID-19 rules by hosting a concert on June 13.
“Police is my friend. Naira Marley & Police 5&6,” Naira Marley tweeted.
On Thursday, the singer born Azeez Fashola was arraigned in a Lagos mobile court for same reason. He and his manager were fined N100,000 each after pleading guilty.
