Actress Ini Edo has appealed to moviegoers to support her new film A Very Dirty Christmas, describing its cinema release as a major personal and professional step.

The 43-year-old spoke on Monday, 15 December, at the premiere of the film held at the IMAX cinema in Lekki, Lagos, where she addressed guests and members of the press after the screening.

“I just want to say that all I have is you guys, so please spread the word, come watch the film, so that they don’t arrest me, I have to pay back my investors. Please spread the word, thank you so much members of the press for just being here,” she added.

Ini Edo also confirmed that A Very Dirty Christmas opens in cinemas nationwide from Tuesday.
