Emmanuel held his traditional wedding to the fellow hardcore IPOB member, Chioma, at Ogbuga Eziala Nsulu in the Isiala Ngwa North local government area of Abia state.

The IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was not present at the ceremony.

However, family, friends and other IPOB members were there to celebrate with the couple.

The senator representing Abia-South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Eyinnaya Abaribe, had urged the Court of Appeal in Abuja to relieve him of the role of surety for Nnamdi Kanu.

The Abia Senator alongside two others had stood as sureties for Kanu before he was granted bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja on April 25, 2017.
