Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Paul Enenche has responded to claims that he uses church funds to support his personal lifestyle.

Speaking to the congregation in a video shared on Sunday, Pastor Enenche addressed the allegations and dismissed assumptions linking his personal items to church finances.

“Some people will see a suit or a watch and say, ‘church money.’ That is mumu-ishness of sense,” he said.

The cleric stated that neither he nor members of his family have had access to the church’s cheque book since the ministry was founded.

He said proceeds from church materials, including CDs and books, are not used for personal needs.

“From day one till now, church cheque book is not in our possession,” he said.

Enenche, who is the founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, a church headquartered in Abuja with branches in Nigeria and other countries, said he has never used proceeds from his devotional or CDs sold in church to buy clothing or accessories.

“Not one naira of it has been used to buy a tie or socks; how much more church offering?” he said.

He explained that his personal needs were met without reliance on church funds and said he had no attachment to material possessions.

He added that many items given to him as gifts, including shoes and clothing, had remained unused for years, while others were given out.

“I gave out about 200-and-something suits in one day. Go, it’s enough,” he said.

Paul Enenche urged members of the church to focus on spiritual matters rather than material possessions.

“Let’s stop living for things and start living for God and the kingdom. When you do, the things people are chasing will start chasing you,” he said.

Dunamis International Gospel Centre was founded in 1996 and operates the Glory Dome in Abuja, which serves as its main auditorium.
