Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s House on the Rock church has cancelled its all-night prayer meeting scheduled for Friday.
The church announced the cancellation on social media, saying it was necessary due to the restriction of movement around the Ikate area of Lagos where its headquarters, the Rock Cathedral, is located.
“Due to movement restrictions around the Rock Cathedral between 10pm tonight and 5am tomorrow, please be informed that the All Night Prayer Meeting has been cancelled,” the church’s post on Instagram read.

The church apologised for any inconvenience caused.
The cancellation is believed to be connected to the traditional worshippers’ Oro festival which usually takes place in Ikate-Elegushi.
