Big Brother Naija reality star Tega Dominic has called for the retirement of general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Tega said in an Instagram post on Saturday following a viral video of the cleric declaring that Christians from other denominations will bow to members of the church.
“I decree in the name that is above every other name, Christians from other denominations will bow before you,” he said.
The prayer sparked reactions on social media as many criticised the pastor’s declaration including Tega who stated that it was time for him to retire.
“They should leave this man to retire in peace na, before Nigerians will drag out the remaining man of God title comot him body,” she wrote.
“Upon all the hardship in Naija, Christians are shouting thunderous Amen to other Christians bowing before them. Hunger, kidnappers and terrorists can finish you as long as other Christians bow before you. Ọ dị MMA,” actor Emeka Amakleze added.
