Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Corps Marshal Boboye Oyeyemi has ordered an immediate investigation into a reported case of alleged unethical behaviour exhibited by Deputy Route Commander B Ojeamiran.

Mr Ojeamiran has been seen in a video clip which has gone viral on social media platforms driving under the influence of alcohol.

Mr Oyeyemi gave the order on Saturday according to the corps public education officer Bisi Kazeem.

According to Mrs Kazeem, the corps marshal whose administration is built on the tripod of consultation, reward and punishment condemned in its totality the act and vowed to institute necessary disciplinary actions against the personnel and if found guilty, the law will take its due course.

He noted inter alia that the FRSC will always remain resolute in its stand against unethical behaviours and will never condone any act of indiscipline by its personnel either on duty or out of duty.

Oyeyemi also applauded the ingenuity of the public for being active watchdogs of the corps at all times and further called on them not to relent in such patriotic ventures.

While assuring the public of an immediate investigation, the corps marshal reiterated the corps’ position to its corporate mandate of ensuring a safer motoring environment for all citizenry.
