Ooni estranged wife Silekunola and sister Simi

Similoluwa Ogunseyi, the younger sister of Silekunola, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has shared a video of herself and her little nephew and son of the Ooni, Prince Tadenikawo.

In the video posted on Instagram on Thursday, October 27, Simi is seen with the young prince who is full of smiles. The new graduate was also seen telling Tadenikawo to call her ‘Aunty Simi’.

In another video with her nephew, she captioned the post ‘my baby’.

On October 17, Queen Silekunola shared rare photos of her son on Instagram. In the photos posted to Instagram, Tadenikawo is seen wearing clothes of the same colour with his mum.

Silekunola wrote, “Over the weekend we celebrated maami @55 and here are few pictures from the beautiful event videos coming soon. Spot my prince charming in his blue tuxedo.”

That was the first time she posted photos of the boy since his first birthday last year.

Celebrating the prince’s first birthday on social media, the Ooni had written, “Prince Tadenikawo is one today!!! An answer to many prayers, you came right at the appointed time. To the glory of the Almighty, the King of Kings, you will surely live to fulfil your destiny in this world! Amin! Ase !!!”

Silekunola, on her part, posted lyrics of the song ‘Joy like a River’ on social media to celebrate her son’s birthday.

Silekunola announced her separation from the monarch in December 2021, stating that she was not leaving because of the women in the monarch’s life but because his public identity was allegedly at variance with his private personality.

Oba Ogunwusi has since moved on and married six wives in quick succession.
