Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi

Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has marked the fifth birthday of his first son, Prince Tadenikawo, on Tuesday.

Tadenikawo was born on November 18, 2020, to the monarch and his ex-wife, Silekunola Naomi.

In an Instagram post, Oba Ogunwusi expressed gratitude as he celebrated his son.

He wrote, “Today, my heart overflows with gratitude to Eledumare as I celebrate the 5th birthday of my beloved son, Prince Tadenikawo.”

The monarch described Tadenikawo as a symbol of the future and the continuation of the royal lineage.

He added that his son’s laughter brings joy to the dynasty and that his presence renews his faith in the people.

Oba Ogunwusi said he hoped the ancestors would guide Tadenikawo and that the Almighty would grant him purpose, honour and divine favour.

The monarch referred to Tadenikawo as more than a son, describing him as a gift, a legacy and a testament to God’s grace.

He concluded his message by wishing his son a long life to fulfill the potential ahead.

Naomi announced her separation from Oba Ogunwusi in December 2021.

She stated that the split was not due to other women in the monarch’s life but alleged differences between his public image and private personality.

Oba Ogunwusi married six wives in one month after their separation.

His current wives include Mariam Anako, Elizabeth Akinmuda, Tobi Phillips and Ashley Folasade, among others.
