Nigeria midfield powerhouse, Ogenyi Onazi, scored one of the goals as Lazio defeated Saint-Etienne 3-2 in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
Onazi scored in the 22nd minute from a Felipe Anderson delivery to equalise for the Biancoceleste after the visitor had taken a shock lead in the sixth minute.
Wesley Hoedt and Lucas Biglia increased the home team’s advantage but Kevin Monnet-Paquet’s calm chip ensured a tense finish for the Olympico outfit.
Stefano Poli’s men hung on for a remarkable win which takes them top of Group G.
