Rapper Olamide has laughed off comparisons between his signee Fireboy and Don Jazzy’s signee Rema.

The comparison started after a video of Davido’s aide Israel DMW hailing the singer was interpreted as “Fireboy at Mavins headquarters asking Rema for that compromise verse.”

A Twitter user identified as Kussman shared the video on the platform, which caught the attention of the YBNL boss.

Reacting to the video, Olamide laughed, adding that he was proud of Fireboy and Rema because the duo has a genuine love for each other.

“You people have wahala on this app. Fire X Rema got genuine and solid love for each other and I’m super proud of them,” he wrote.

Laughing at another funny video, he wrote: “I really can’t deal. I done watch this video die…no worry una craze for this app well well.”

On Olamide’s birthday in March, Fireboy called the rapper his biggest inspiration.

The 26-year-old shared Olamide’s photos in an Instagram story on Tuesday, March 15, adding that the rapper is also one of his ‘favourite human beings’ and a ‘blessing to this generation’.

Fireboy, who is signed to Olamide’s record label wrote, “Biggest inspiration. One of my favourite human beings in this world. God bless you as you have continued to be a blessing to this generation. Happy birthday to the ‘GOAT’ (Greatest of All Times).”
