Okowa’s ex-commissioner reacts to allegation of affair with domestic servant

Peter Mrakpor (SAN), a former attorney general and commissioner for justice under Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, has debunked reports on social media alleging that he had an extra-marital affair with the domestic servant of his ex-wife Joan.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Akpovoke Otiti, Mrakpor also denied that the relationship produced a child.

He described the allegation as “false, satanic and a calculated attempt to destroy his hard-earned reputation.”

Mrakpor said “a desperate group of disgruntled politicians and enemies” was behind the allegations.

Mrakpor’s marriage to Joan (nee Ugbah) ended in July 2020.
