Okorocha breaks silence after scoring zero votes at APC presidential primary

Senator Rochas Okorocha on Monday broke his silence days after scoring zero votes at the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held from June 6-8.

In a Facebook post, the Imo West Senator congratulated Bola Tinubu on his victory as the presidential candidate of the party.

The former Imo State governor wished Tinubu success ahead of the 2023 general election.

He also commended other aspirants who participated in the APC presidential primary.

“I want to congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the Presidential primaries of our Party, the All Progressive Congress.

“I also want to wish him success as he heads to the polls ahead of the 2023 general election.

“My commendations also goes to all who participated in the APC party primaries in a bid to get the Presidential ticket,” he said.

Okorocha was not the only presidential aspirant in the party who got zero votes. Others who did are Pastor Tunde Bakare, Tein Jack-Rich, and Ikeobasi Mokhelu.
