President of Women Arise for Change Initiative and the Campaign for Democracy, Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin, was a year older on Saturday, June 4.
As it is customary, the rights activist spent the day in the company of the people dearest to her heart.
If Saturday was rather low-key, Sunday was a more public affair as she had a thanksgiving session at the Latter Rain Assembly in Lagos.
With Pastor Tunde Bakare, whom she describes as “my leader” presiding, the 49-year-old was all smiles, dancing and singing praise songs.
Her husband, Yinka Odumakin, who could not keep his hands off his phones, was also in attendance.
