Manchester United forward, Odion Ighalo, has been exercising in the Super Eagles jersey, despite ruling out a possible return to the Nigerian national team.

The 30-year-old has been posting pictures of himself exercising during the coronavirus lockdown.

Days ago, he exercised in dark green shorts and shirts Super Eagles wear under their jersey.

The Lagos-born footballer had worn the number 9 jersey until his retirement from the Super Eagles in July 2019 shortly after winning the top scorer award at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigerians have since been clamouring for his return to the national team, with his recent success at Manchester United adding voice to the calls.

Ighalo made his full debut for the Super Eagles in a friendly against Uganda in March 2015.

He has a total of 34 caps and 15 goals for the national team.
