OD Woods’ brother fast-rising singer OrTrees confirmed dead

The Benue State Police Command spokesperson Catherine Anene has confirmed the death of fast-rising singer Terungwa Albert Ikon, known professionally as OrTrees.

According to Punch on Tuesday, Anene confirmed it in a text message.

In the message, she simply wrote: “It’s true.”

She added that the body of the singer was dumped in the river and added that several arrests had been made and those arrested were suspected cultists.

OrTrees’ brother, singer Orduen Ikon, better known as OD Woods, had on Monday dismissed the death rumour about his brother.

He pointed out that his brother’s body was yet to be found.

He wrote: “My brother has not been found, his body has not been found either. The police got new information regarding the case and I’m waiting on them for a complete report.”

The Benue-born singer first raised an alarm on Facebook over his brother’s disappearance on April 19, 2022.
