Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and Dame Patience, wife of immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan, stepped to the dance floor together on Friday last week in a rare public show of affection.
The event was the burial reception for the mother of Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, at Uburu, in Ohaozara Local Government Area.
Friends and family of the governor were stunned as “Mama Peace” did a tango with the man who led the campaign to get her husband out of office.
Obasanjo even stuck out his tongue at those who stunned to see the two in warm embrace.
Among those present at the reception were Governors Nyesom Wike and Olusegun Mimiko of Rivers and Ondo states respectively; Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ali Modu Sheriff, and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.
