Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim, has recounted the journey of seven years in marriage to childhood friend Clifford Sule.
In a post on Instagram on Friday, the 45-year-old said she did not know their relationship would last this long and that there were times they “just wanted to down tools.”
She added: “I am glad we held on tighter regardless of all the elements, we let our love prevail. 7 years hasn’t been easy, it’s been pure work and commitment…I love the past (all of it) and can’t wait for the future…Happy anniversary to us both.”
Nse Ikpe-Etim and Clifford Sule got married on February 14, 2013, at a Lagos registry.
A traditional wedding ceremony followed in her hometown in Akwa Ibom State.
