Nollywood actor and costume designer Prince Onyenwere has been handed over to the police in Asaba for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl at a movie location.
In a video circulating on social media, Prince Onyenwere could be seen getting attacked by some persons believed to be his colleagues who kept beating him for allegedly abusing the minor.
A voice in the background could be heard saying, “R*pist, you no fit control your dick.”
A source who wishes to remain anonymous told QEDNG on Tuesday that the incident happened on Sunday at a hotel in Asaba. The source who was on the movie set with Prince said the costumier has been handed over to the police after he was badly beaten.
“After beating him, they took him to the police station,” the source said.
Another report said the little girl who is also a child actress was s*xually abused by Prince while changing her outfit for the next scene in a hotel room at the movie location.
The Delta State Police has not released any official statement regarding the matter as of the time of filing this report.
Prince Onyenwere has worked with actors like Zack Orji, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Walter Anga, Nosa Rex, Ebele Uche and Rita Edochie.
