NLNG spokesperson, Ghana consul general, others to attend Realnews 9th anniversary lecture

Prominent speakers at the Realnews ninth anniversary lecture scheduled for Thursday, November 18 at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja have confirmed their attendance.

Those who have confirmed attendance include the founder and chief executive officer of Proton Energy Ltd, Oti Ikomi; general manager, external relations and sustainable development, Nigeria LNG Limited, Eyono-Fatayi Willaims; consul general, Ghanaian Consulate, Samata Bukari; and chief executive officer of NewForce Africa Adama Gaye.

The lecture themed ‘Nigeria in the unfolding integration of the African market: The oil and gas perspective’ will be delivered by the executive secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) Simbi Wabote.

Ikomi and Fatayi-Williams confirmed their attendance in their emails dated November 5, 2021, and September 15, respectively.

Group managing director, FirstBank Holdings, Urum Eke, confirmed attendance in a letter he personally signed and dated October 22, 2021.

Publisher of Realnews Maureen Chigbo said there will be an investiture of all the speakers into The Realnews Hall of Fame immediately after the Lecture. Chigbo explained that the The Realnews Hall of Fame was established to honour only those who played key roles during the anniversary lectures.

Realnews past anniversary lecturers include the secretary to the government of the federation and chairman, presidential task force of COVID-19 (2020), Boss Mustapha; former Ghana President, John Mahama (2019); chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu (2018); and former minister of education Oby Ezekwesili (2017).
