Nike restocks Super Eagles World Cup kit

American kit manufacturers, Nike, has restocked their collection of Super Eagles’ World Cup kit.

Although the Nigeria national football team didn’t make much impact on the pitch at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, their Nike home jersey transcended the sport and became a must-have fashion item.

Thanks to the bold, eagle-inspired design and use of vivid colours, the jersey sold out on the Nike website and at many other retailers, making it an exclusive piece of apparel.

At one point, the jerseys were even reselling on eBay for the almost double price.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) recently revealed that they would renew their contract with the kit giants.

The Super Eagles will hope to draw some inspiration from the new deal when they face South Africa in an Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Saturday.
