Nigeria’s coronavirus figures now 214 after five new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed five new cases of the coronavirus in the country.

The new entrants put the figure of persons infected with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria at 214.

The NCDC said on Saturday night that of the five new cases, three are in Bauchi while two are in the Federal Capital Territory.

“As of 10:10 pm 4th April there are 214 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-five have been discharged with two deaths,” it said.

Bauchi now has six cases of COVID-19 altogether while the FCT has 43.
