Nigerians forgive Leon Balogun for Madagascar blunders

Leon Balogun

Nigerians on Twitter have forgiven Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun, for his blunders in Nigeria’s loss to Madagascar on Sunday.

The 31-year-old partnered William Troost-Ekong in the defence for his second appearance at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) but underwhelmed in Alexandria.

His mistake was exploited Lalaina Nomenjanahary to score Madagascar’s first goal in the 13th minute.

He has tendered an apology on Twitter on Tuesday and Nigerians have seemingly accepted the heartfelt apology.
