The Africans stormed social media to mock their colonial master after Wednesday’s semi-final exit.
Croatia defeated England 2-1 on to book their spot in the final of the competition.
Mario Mandzukic’s 109th-minute strike fired Zlatko Dalic’s side to the final stage of the tournament after Ivan Perisic cancelled Kieran Trippier’s first-half strike for Gareth Southgate’s men.
Croatia began their World Cup campaign with a 2-0 win over the Super Eagles on June 16 and Nigerians are impressed by their group opponents’ progress to the final.
