Some Nigerians have condemned Aminu Adamu, a student of Federal University, Dutse, for allegedly supporting the killing of another student Deborah Samuel in May over alleged blasphemy.

Ms Samuel was a second-year student at Shehu Shagari College of Education (SSCOE) Sokoto when she was set on fire over a WhatsApp comment which was termed blasphemous.

Adamu, on the other hand, is on trial for allegedly defaming first lady Aisha Buhari.

His tweet allegedly made with the handle @aminullahie on May 16, 2022, has gone viral. It was culled up on Thursday and since then Adamu, who had been getting the public’s sympathy over his ordeal with Mrs Buhari, has now come under fire.
