Nigerians on Twitter have knocked people asking for pictorial evidence of the military’s claim that 105 Boko Haram insurgents were killed during its operations in Yobe State.

The Nigerian Army on Sunday in a statement on Sunday by its acting spokesman, Sagir Musa, said the operations took place at the outskirts of Buni Gari village in Yobe.

Musa said the insurgents were planning “a heavy onslaught on the village”.

Twitter users have now called on other Nigerians to celebrate the victory instead of seeking evidence from the military.
