Mr Ojora is said to have acted in several Bollywood movies, Indian Express reports.

He was arrested last Thursday.

The Nigerian told officials that he had a ticket to Goa but his visa had expired.

It was later confirmed that his visa expired in 2011 and had not been renewed.

“The man enjoys celebrity status in his country and has also acted in some Hindi movies. He was living in India illegally,” a senior CISF officer said.

He added that Ojora has been handed over to intelligence bureau investigators for further probe.
