Nigeria rise in latest FIFA Ranking

Super EaglesNigeria have climbed one spot to 52nd in the latest FIFA ranking, released on Thursday.

The Super Eagles are however ranked 10th in Africa after picking up one win and a draw against Niger and Tanzania respectively in the month of September.

Argentina are setting the pace globally, with world champions Germany, Belgium, Portugal and Colombia completing the top five.

Algeria, African Champions Côte d’Ivoire, the Black Stars of Ghana, Tunisia and Senegal are the top five football nations in Africa.
