Neymar dragged on Twitter for poor showing against Liverpool

Neymar’s attitude was once again called into question as Liverpool defeated Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The rampant Reds roared into a 2-0 first-half lead through Daniel Sturridge and James Milner’s penalty – but Thomas Meunier pulled one back for the visitors.

The French giants thought they had stolen a point late on when Kylian Mbappe pounced on Mohamed Salah’s mistake to level.

But a sumptuous goal from Roberto Firmino in stoppage time won it for the hosts.

Being the most expensive footballer on the planet, much was expected from Neymar on such big nights.

Yet again, the Brazillian underperformed; instead retorting to theatrics and ball watching.

His critics didn’t take it likely. Here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
