The French giants thought they had stolen a point late on when Kylian Mbappe pounced on Mohamed Salah’s mistake to level.
But a sumptuous goal from Roberto Firmino in stoppage time won it for the hosts.
Being the most expensive footballer on the planet, much was expected from Neymar on such big nights.
Yet again, the Brazillian underperformed; instead retorting to theatrics and ball watching.

In a period like this, Neymar should release the ball as quickly as possible as he’s clearly not capable of pulling the solo dribbles he used to pull before injury. It’s been months but he still hasn’t recovered his pace. To make things worse, he insists on going solo. Not good.
