Editor of Newsdiaryonline, Abdallah el-Kurebe, has recovered from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and has been discharged from the isolation centre where he was treated.
Mr El-Kurebe was admitted at the isolation centre of Specialist Hospital, Sokoto on May 3.
The editor said he was asymptomatic throughout the treatment procedure.
“I thank God I have been discharged from the isolation centre today, Tuesday, after testing negative for the virus,” he said.
“Since my admission to date, I remained stable and without any symptoms whatsoever.”
He expressed appreciation to all who supported him through the treatment.
El-Kurebe urged the public to comply with preventive measures stipulated by health experts and the government.
