Nathaniel Bassey prays for Mercy Chinwo’s baby

Gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has showered words of prayers on Mercy Chinwo’s baby Charis Nduka Blessed.

The ‘Hallelujah’ singer visited Mercy and her husband Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa to see their new bundle of joy.

Nathaniel Bassey posted a photo of himself via Instagram on Thursday all smiles as he held the baby.

He declared the baby a “prophetic child, crowned with grace and glory” and also congratulated the couple.

He wrote: “What a Joy! This bundle of Joy, and expression of God’s glory in the BLESSED family! Indeed SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE @mercychinwo & @theofficialblessed ! What a prophetic child! Baby Charis. Crowned with grace and glory. Congratulations to my brother and sister! Can I also prophesy that those trusting God for such a testimony will shout for joy soon, in Jesus’ name.”

Reacting in the comment section of the post, Mercy and her husband thanked Nathaniel for the visit.

“Thank you sir @nathanielblow for the honour💃💃baby @charisnblessed says thank you 💃we are grateful,” Mercy wrote.

“Thank you MOG for honoring us with your presence We are humbled by the love, support and prayers God bless you, Blessed added.

Mercy’s husband had earlier revealed their baby’s name in an Instagram post with photos of the child and his wife.

“My world I’m a Blessed Man Lord I’m grateful. Thank you baby @mercychinwo for being an amazing wife and mother to our son “CHARIS NDUKA BLESSED,” he captioned the photos.

The Waterbrook Church pastor was also the first to reveal their baby’s gender.

The proud father revealed this in the comment section of a throwback video Mercy posted via Instagram on a Friday.

In the video, a heavily pregnancy Mercy could be seen dancing to one of the tracks from her album.

“Throwback to when I was celebrating my precious bundle of Joy! Welcome to a season of celebration, family. May this month usher in an overflow of thanksgiving and testimonies in your life that will have you shouting ‘Jesus, indeed, You Do This One.

Reacting in the comment section of the post, Mercy’s husband revealed that the couple welcomed a boy.

“December to celebrate with the mother of my SON what a December,” he wrote.

Mercy Chinwo, husband Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa welcome first child

The couple announced the birth of their baby in an Instagram post on October 27.

Mercy and Blessed Uzochikwa tied the knot traditionally in Port Harcourt on Friday, August 12, 2022.

The white wedding which was held on Saturday was attended by families and friends of the couple including Banky W and Adesua Etomi.
