Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan calls for prayer as Mohbad’s son clocks one

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central) has called for prayer for Liam, son of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.

Liam clocked one on Friday, April 12.

In an Instagram post, Akpoti-Uduaghan, who also has a son, prayed that God would bless and protect Liam.

“Say a prayer for Mohbad’s son, Liam as he turns 1 today. Happy Birthday little champ … God bless and protect you endlessly,” she wrote.

Mohbad died aged 27 in controversial circumstances. Lagos State Police on September 18, 2023, inaugurated a 13-man investigation team to probe the singer’s death.

A Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ikorodu, Lagos is set to hear a suit by Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, seeking a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) test for Liam.

On Wednesday, the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi in Lagos Oba Saheed Elegushi dissociated himself from the paternity dispute over Liam.

In a statement by his media consultant, Deyemi Saka, the monarch said the falsehood was promoted by some persons on TikTok.
