A delegation of the management and layers of Nasarawa United FC of Lafia at the weekend paid a visit to injured players of Kano Pillars Football Club in Kano.

The Nigeria Professional Football League champions were attacked by armed bandits along Abaji-Lokoja highway on their way to Owerri to play Heartland FC in the league opener which was later postponed as a result of the sad incident.

The Nasarawa United delegation, led by the Team Manager, Mr Solomon Babanja, alongside 35 players and other officials commiserated with Kano Pillars and wished the recuperating players quick recovery.

The leadership of Nigerian football club owners, led by Barr. Isaac Danladi alongside the Chairman of Elkanemi Warriors, Alhaji Mala Zanna, also visited the injured players and wished them quick recovery.

Barr. Danladi, on behalf of #club owners expressed concern at the plight of the Kano Pillars players and the entire club.

General Manager of Kano Pillars, Umar Mahmud, thanked the club owners and all football stakeholders for their prayers and concern for the injured players and the entire team.
