Dancehall and Afro-pop singer, Timaya, has said that colleague, Naira Marley, spoke his arrest into existence.
The 38-year-old musician said this in an Instagram video on Saturday.
He said that music was spiritual and that artistes who had sang about death including 2pac, Notorious B.I.G and Dagrin had indeed died.
He then referenced Naira’s video for single “Am I a Yahoo boy” where he was arrested.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) announced plans to arraign Naira Marley on May 20 over 11 counts of fraud and cybercrimes.
The charge sheet was signed by Rotimi Iseoluwa ESQ, I. A Mohammed ESQ, U. U Buhari ESQ and A. O Mohammed.
