Muyiwa Ademola apologises to colleagues over missing invitations to Ori: The Rebirth premiere

Actor Muyiwa Ademola has issued a heartfelt apology to his colleagues who did not receive invitations to the premiere of his new movie Ori: The Rebirth.

The 54-year-old, whose movie premiere holds on Sunday, April 27, admitted the oversight in a post on Instagram on Sunday, taking full responsibility for the lapse and pleading for forgiveness.

“Good morning, fam. I just want to use this moment to plead to those who deserved to be invited but weren’t, especially my colleagues, senior and junior.

“The blame is on me. Please forgive me. You are all important to me and my journey. I value you now and always,” he wrote.

Muyiwa further explained that he became overwhelmed with preparations for the event, stressing that his actions were not intentional.

“Ema binu simi. Afojudi ko o. I just got a bit overwhelmed. I AM SO SORRY. Thanks for this outpour of love. It goes deep into me. Love you all,” he added.

He concluded the message by announcing that Ori Rebirth premieres today and will officially hit cinemas nationwide from May 1.

Ori: The Rebirth is a sequel to Muyiwa Ademola’s 2003 hit movie Ori, which explored themes of destiny, perseverance and the consequences of human choices.

Ori: The Rebirth continues the story, delving deeper into the journey of self-discovery and the forces that shape human destiny.
