Motherhood helped me overcome depression – Kaffy

Nigerian choreographer and fitness coach, Kafayat Shafau-Ameh, popularly known as Kaffy, has said that being a mother has helped her overcome depression.

The mother of two disclosed this in an interview with sunnewsonline.com.

Responding to a question on how motherhood has transformed her, she answered: “Greatly. Motherhood helped me overcome depression. There are times when you are frustrated by everything around you and you feel the entire world is going to crash on your head.”

She also said that working in the same industry as her husband, Joseph Ameh, had not affected her marriage negatively.

On Sunday, she shared a picture of her daughter, Eliana, and husband posing for a picture in the swimming pool.
