A 27-year-old woman, simply known as Balkisu, and her three year-old daughter have been found dead in Dole Kaina village, Dandi local government area of Kebbi State.
Kebbi police spokesperson, Nafiu Abubakar, told journalists on Friday that investigation into the murders had begun.
Mr Abubakar said the incident was reported to the police by the woman’s husband, Malan Zayyanu, who was said to have returned from a trip on Saturday only to find his family dead.
The spokesman said no arrest has been made yet.
