Chidera Moghalu, daughter of the former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Kingsley Moghalu, has graduated from Howard University in the US.

Founded in 1867, the varsity is reputed as America’s leading historically black college and university (HBCU).

Moghalu and his wife Maryanne were present in Washington DC on Saturday, May 13 at the convocation ceremony to support their daughter.

Moghalu had two outfits for the day – a suit and Nigerian attire, ‘agbada’.

The economic expert shared photos of US President Joe Biden arriving at the venue. Biden was flanked by the president of Howard University, Professor Wayne Frederick.

Biden delivered his commencement address at the university’s 155th convocation ceremony.
