Minister of state for education Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba under fire for buying N100m presidential form amid ASUU strike

Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba minister of state for education

Minister of state for education Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has been criticised for obtaining the nomination and expression of interest forms to vie for the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress.

Nwajiuba got the forms which cost N100 million on Wednesday after a group of Nigerians reportedly pooled the fees.

Nwajiuba is not the only minister vying to be president. Others include transport minister Rotimi Amaechi and minister of labour and employment Chris Ngige.

Nigerians on Twitter are condemning Nwajiuba for purchasing the form despite the closure of federal universities across the country occasioned by the industrial action being carried out by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
