Rapper, Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI Abaga, has left record label, Chocolate City, and released a new EP, Judah, under his own label, Incredible Music.

The 38-year-old shared the news on social media on Friday, with a montage showing the early days of his career to the present.

The video begins with the logo of his new record label, Incredible Music, before explaining the reasons for his exit.

“Choc boys… gave everything for that name… blood sweat, tears, time, money, loyalty, sacrifice.  But sometimes your best isn’t good enough, my best wasn’t good enough, but it’s alright. It’s time to say goodbye and do something new,” he said.

MI also thanked his fans for their support for the past 13 years and invited them to come along on the next stage of his journey.

Chocolate City was founded in 2005 by Audu Maikori and Paul Okeugo.
