Actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie has revealed why she always gets emotional when talking about her junior colleague Regina Daniels, as the latter celebrates her 25th birthday.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Mercy shared a photo of Regina with the caption, “You already know how overwhelmed I get when it comes to you… I have no words as I always get emotional each time I need to talk about you… you and my kids own my heart. I truly understand love and sacrifice since all 5 of you came into my life and gave it a meaning…
“I love you so much. Heaven knows I wish you well and even the Angels in heaven wonder how one can love another so much… I love you with every fiber in me Gina… you are my very own flesh and blood. Happy Birthday to our very own Mrs Regina Ned Nwoko. Love you always.”
Mercy’s message underscores the mother-daughter bond she shares with Regina, whom she mentored from her early years in Nollywood.
Regina has also expressed deep gratitude to Mercy, describing her as “an inspiration in practically every aspect” of her life.
Regina, who turned 25 on Friday, married Ned Nwoko in 2019. They have two sons, Munir and Khalifa.
