Winner of Big Brother Naija 2019 edition, Mercy Eke, has congratulated Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, on her nomination as the ‘best actress in a leading role’ at the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) scheduled for October 27.
Mercy shared a picture of Rita’s nomination on Instagram on Wednesday and called for support from Nigerians.

“Congratulations on your nomination For AMAA Best Actress in a Leading Role, our screen goddess,” she wrote about Rita.
“My Dear Mercenaries, Let’s turn up and support one of our own @ritadominic on the 27th of October. Go get your tickets, let’s go bring this home. You all did it once you can do it again,” Mercy charged her fans.
Rita was a firm supporter of Mercy while the latter was in the Big Brother house.
Rita Dominic and her business and creative partner, Mildred Okwo, are currently working on a film project titled La Femme Anjola. The film has reached an advanced stage.
Best actress at the 2012 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) and 2017 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) among many others, Rita has received several awards to her credit.

At 44, Rita still has enough to turn the stiffest neck and drive traffic to the cinema.
Rita is the star of a truckload of unforgettable films while Mildred has her imprint on productions like 30 Days, The Meeting and Suru L’ere.
