Actress Mercy Aigbe has announced that her film ThinLine was the fourth most watched movie on Netflix in 2025.
On Thursday she shared the news on her Instagram page writing, “THINLINE Ranked 4th most watched on Netflix last year 🎬✨ Grateful. Focused. Moving forward. Video Credit @shockng ❤️.”
ThinLine was first released in cinemas on December 13, 2024.
The story, written by Prisca Okeke and directed by Akay Mason, stars Mercy Aigbe, Uzor Arukwe, Uche Montana and others. It follows events set in motion when a respected pastor becomes involved in a scandal that leads to a mysterious death.
After its cinema run, the film was made available for streaming on Netflix on October 1, 2025. ThinLine quickly found an audience on the platform and remained in the Netflix Nigeria top 10 list for several weeks.
