Michelle Gentry, daughter of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, is the latest subject of social media celebrity backlash.
The 14-year-old on Monday shared a picture of herself wearing a black crop top that exposed her bellybutton along with a stylish sweat pant.
Instagram users were quick to comment that the dress is not age appropriate and as such should be condemned not praised.
“We Nigerians need to know where to draw the line. She is underage please, there’s nothing sexy about her stature,” a concerned follower expressed.
Another noted, “What is wrong is wrong abeg. So many paedophiles walking about.”
“She’s a beauty. But the exposed part is not normal”
Another user also stated that global age should be blamed from her dressing. “It is no one’s fault. Global age caused it.”
Some fans however appreciated the dressing saying she looked cute no matter what.
